Introduction to my Mt St Michael’s experience
Year 8 2011 –

My first impression –
Well at the start I thought that high school would be easy and boring because in grade 7 in primary school they treated it a lot like high school to get us ready for high school.  But the first day my thoughts and impressions started to change completely, I thought when I walked into the guard lf honour that I was going to love this school!! Everyone was so involved and inviting.  Now I feel like I have been here for years because everyone is so nice and welcoming.  So far I love msm!!

Greatest Challenge –
So far at Mt St Michaels a couple of greatest challenges have been: trying to find the Ionian centre on the second day of school with absolutely no idea where to go; trying to undo my locker all the time when it doesn’t what to cooperate with me; keeping up with writing stuff in my diary and remembering to keep looking onwards so I know what is coming in the week ahead!!  Although most people have trouble keeping with up with homework it has kind of been the same for me since primary school because my primary school treated grade 7 a lot like high school, we all had different teachers for maths and we had to move around classes for all our other subjects and remember to take all our books with us.  I know that at MSM I have my any other challenges that I will have to face in the future.

Favourite thing about high school –
I think my favourite thing about high school so far would have to be………the teachers and the students – everybody is so nice and kind and helpful, all the teachers are lovely.  Another one of my favourite things is that doesn’t matter who you are or what you do there is always a place for you some where either in a sport or a group or club, and everybody appreciates you for what you do and who you are!!  Laptops are also another of my favourite things, I feel so privileged to have my own laptop (tablet) and to be able to take it home and use it instead of using by exercise books.
